"...whoever comes to me shall not hunger..."

Food is both a human necessity and human right. And, although Jesus was speaking of the spiritual food of His body broken on the cross, we, as Christians, have a calling to assist those who are struggling here and now. To that goal, McBee Presbyterian Church keeps on hand a modest assortment of shelf-stable food items for distribution to those in need.

Additionally, we administer the Backpack for Kids program that helps kids who might otherwise go hungry over the weekend. We have collected, packed, and distributed over 35 bags a week for our local elementary students. And every Christmas, we pack food boxes to distribute to local families that are in need of food. Last year we distrubuted over 45.

If you would like to assist us in assisting others, you can donate shelf-stable goods by calling the office (843-335-7413) and setting up a time to drop-off your donations. You  can also make a monetary contribution by following the link in the QR code below or dircting your browser to: <https://map.tacklehunger.org/donate?site=reczasymCWH6WRkOh>

We pray for a day when no one goes hungry, physically or spiritually.
