Beginning Sunday, August 16, we will resume normal weekly services on Sunday mornings at 11:00. We will not be resuming Sunday School at this time. Below please find some guidelines that the Session is asking everyone to follow.
Reopening Guidelines for Congregation
Although the Sanctuary will be open for worship this coming Sunday, August 16, we will also be live streaming the service
much like in the past.
Please stay home if you…
...are sick or present any symptoms such as congestion, persistent cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.;
...are uncomfortable meeting in groups;
...have any of the underlying conditions that the CDC has identified.
If you will be utilizing the live stream…
Live Stream will contain the texts for the service, including hymns, responsive readings, and scripture.
In addition you may find the texts for the service on our website (www.mcbeepres.org/liveworship).
If you will be attending, please note:
Face masks are required and will be available at the door.
Normal exemptions apply (age, health, etc.). Exemptions can be viewed on the McBee Town ordinance linked here: Town of McBee
Please note that a face mask covers both the mouth and nose.
Hand sanitizing stations will be in place at each door.
When entering and exiting, please maintain a six-foot distance from those around you.
Singing and congregational responses are permitted;
however those engaging in this form of worship are asked to maintain a soft volume level behind your face covering.
We are encouraging you to sit in the sanctuary with distancing.
Families that have quarantined together, may sit together.
Please be sensitive to those who have not been around many people these past months.
No handshakes, hugs, or high-fives.
We will not be passing the offering plates but they will be available at the doors.
Hymnals and Bibles are not in the pews. Texts, both spoken and sung, will be published on
leaflets in the pews. You are encouraged to bring your own Bible.
There will be no nursery or children’s moments for the time being.
The Fellowship Hall will not be available to watch the service.
Remember to maintain your face coverings throughout the duration of the service.
In particular when engaging with others, congregational responses, and soft singing.
Whether you worship with us in person or at home, may the peace of God, which transcends our understanding,
guard the hearts and minds of you and your loved ones.
